I led a number of workshops that focused on showcasing methods of recycling plastic, while educating participants about the climate crisis and potential solutions. These workshops included lectures and discussions, as well as hands-on tutorials utilizing recycled plastic.
organized and led a series of workshops in the Rochester area that focused on silicone casting, aimed for children to make their own MoonPads. These were then donated to children with autism at AlSigl agencies. The workshops provided students an opportunity to learn about diversity and to develop empathy for their peers.
During my time in my hometown of Santa Maria, I was asked to conduct interviews and give presentations about plastic pollution and recycling. I spoke at universities, schools and gave talks to the public. Additionally, my recycled plastic project was featured in local magazines.
